even though the scene here is nothing compared to what it used to be, we still enjoy the free shows at Vixen and the occasional show at Firestone.
yep, i went to the ny eve show 07 @ firestone with kimball and icey, i just moved from there in feb 07.
lived half my life in orlando, love it, i will be back, was just there beg of this month for vacation.
and except in very few spots the scene is nothing like it used to be anywhere, people still love the music, just found 2 young guys at my work that say they listen to "techno"....hehe, i burned them some cd's....bitches trapped for life now...lol
lots of olrando are 92-97ish era tapes in the oldskool section...look for the ripped tape thread, i got more to add, but it will be a min b-4 i get back to ripping them.

in regards to the deekline/ baby anne show... negative. Baby Anne is WAY overrated and I've had the privilege of hanging out with Deekline, Keith MacKenzie and others, so it wasn't that big of a deal for me.
i totally agree on the BA thing but loved hangin out with kmac and fixx, and have yet to catch deek playing live
